Caden had an appointment with the ENT and Audiologist today up at Primary Children's. We saw the audiologist first to test his hearing and his hearing is almost normal now. There are still some tones that he's not hearing, but he said that it shouldn't affect his speech anymore. After that we saw the ENT and he said that the tubes are in place and open. I am so happy and relieved. Between the tubes and speech therapy, hopefully Caden will grace us with some words soon.

Great News! You guys deserve it! Those first words are so sweet especially when they are long awaited.
Isn't it amazing how if you get the right thing (like tubes) it makes all the difference! Good luck Caden. Work hard and soon your parents will wish you would stop talking!
Congrats on the good news. It's amazing what a good speach therapist can do! Dresden was able to benefit from a speach therapist and we are so grateful we did it while he was young. I hope Caden will soon be jabbering away!
Yeppie! I am hoping we avoid tubes, but Luke has had so many ear infections. We shall see. I hope Caden starts talking for you soon.
Glad to hear everything went well. Carson didn't talk at all until he was about 2 1/2 with the help of speech therapy. Hang in there. With the right help, he'll be talking in no time!
That is fantastic news! Give him a hug from his Heber family.
I don't care if he talks or not, I just like watching him do his own Easter Egg hunt. He has so much expression in his little face (his fake surprised face was great) me and him didn't need much words!
